Ready to indulge in fantasy?
If you live in Milwaukee or Chicago, it’s not far. Stop by the Bristol Renaissance Faire, which just opened this weekend, in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Summer after summer, this exquisite medieval fantasy experience never disappoints.
I had a blast being there this weekend, and will be back.
Dress as a medieval princess, sexy pirate, or get an a-la-Lana Del Ray look by grabbing a chic flower band at The Royal Garland Shoppe.
The faire has a vast variety of entertainment shows. I loved watching the glamorous and humorous fights between knights riding horses. The mysterious belly dancers enchanted. I took in an amusing fire show, a wacky mud show, and much more. And of course, the costumes were just spectacular. One day is definitely not enough to explore the exciting scene filled with surprises and imagination.
